Administrative responsibilities include finance, research of new programs, state regulation compliance, policies, grant applications and compliance, literature and advertising, insurance requirements, staffing, center tours and enrollment, parent communication and overall center maintenance.
Maria Marra — Director 16 Pine Street
Maria has her BA in Education and is a certified teacher who joined Cradles as a teacher of our Pre-K program. After several years in the classroom, Maria moved into our Director’s position and has remained in that position for more than 20 years. Her enthusiasm for her role as an educator has brought many creative ideas and additions to our program. Maria values open communication which helps her to understand and provide the individual needs of our families.
Administrative responsibilities include center tours and enrollment, curriculum, record keeping, state regulation compliance, creation and implementation of new programs, extra-curriculum coordination, staffing, parent communication and overall center maintenance.
Debbie Ramrattan — Director Headquarters Plaza
Debbie joined Cradles as a Pre-K teacher more than 20 years ago. She has her BA in Sociology and worked her way through several age groups starting with Toddlers. Debbie taught our Kindergarten program for 4 years and after spending several years as an Assistant Director, Debbie is the Director of our Headquarters Plaza location. Debbie has a passion for education. She is amazed with a child’s ability to learn. She develops the monthly curriculum for both centers. Debbie enjoys creating an environment for her families that allows her to work with them to meet all of their needs.
